The practice
The Cherrybrook Medical Centre is a mixed billing practice situated in a prime position at the popular Cherrybrook Village Shopping Centre. The practice has been established since 2012, with the new premises opening in 2018.
Cherrybrook Medical Centre addresses the high demand for quality healthcare in the area with a loyal patient base of 54,000+. The practice is home to an extensive range of medical services in addition to our GPs, including gastroenterologist, geriatrician, dietician, and podiatrist. Our team of doctors is well supported by innovative technology and dedicated staff. Cherrybrook Medical Centre uses the top clinical software – Best Practice, as well as one of the largest online health appointment booking services – HotDoc.
The practice is ultra-modern and high tech. The design is driven by distinct architectural principles, with a strict focus on maximising space and workflow. The practice features a prominent external facing entrance, with ample natural light and air. It features a wrap-around floor layout with well-defined circulation, sizable consultation rooms and plenty of storage space. The formality of the architecture is contrasted with the vibrant playfulness of Donna Sharam’s artwork. This all adds up to an impressively fresh environment that works effectively for doctors, staff and patients.

The success of our medical centre is the result of a well-trained group of people, working together as a team. All our receptionists have been with us for years and are motivated and rewarded by our number one core value – to help our doctors above all else.
I’m proud that we have many GPs working in our centre and that we can accommodate the individual preferences of our doctors just about all the time. We also offer a range of specialists and allied health services in the aid of providing additional services to the Cherrybrook community. We are set up to adopt all kinds of doctor preferences such as working hours in business hours, busy after-hours sessions, holidays, length of consultations, number of patients and much more.
I’m also proud that in our neighborhood, there are a number of streets where every person in every household is our patient – even though there is no shortage of practices around us.

The shopping centre
Cherrybrook Village is a well-established local community shopping centre in Sydney’s northwest operated by Mirvac. This single level neighbourhood centre features a Woolworths supermarket and 56 retailers including Bests Pharmacy and dental surgery.
Cherrybrook Village is a regular shopping destination for those in the trading area, which is estimated by Mirvac to be 54,320 people. This figure is very close to the size of our patient base – essentially every person who shops here is also our patient. It is located on one of the main roads in Cherrybrook and is one of the busiest shopping centres in the Hornsby and Hills shires.
A dual vehicle car park entry/exit ramp and pedestrian ramp were added in 2018, and many stores have been recently redeveloped. The shopping centre is served by regular bus links from Hornsby to Parramatta and is a quick bus trip from the new Cherrybrook Metro railway station.
Cherrybrook
Cherrybrook is a friendly family-oriented residential suburb of Sydney in the Hornsby Shire, located 27 kilometres northwest of the Sydney CBD. It has a population of almost 19,000 people and is home to a diverse range of cultural backgrounds with a strong community spirit.
Cherrybrook Village is in the community hub of Cherrybrook which includes Greenway Park and the Lakes of Cherrybrook. The suburb is also home to one of Sydney’s top performing secondary schools, Cherrybrook Technology High. Cherrybrook backs onto the scenic Berowra Valley Regional Park, which extends northeast to the Hawkesbury River.
Cherrybrook has the 2nd highest life expectancy in Australia and 8th in international comparison, according to data released by the Public Health Information Development Unit (PHIDU) at Torrens University. Cherrybrook has been undergoing major commercial and residential redevelopment, highlighting promising growth in the area.
